 The Certified Infant Massage Teacher Course (CIMT) is coming to “Queen City”, Manchester, New Hampshire. This Accredited 3-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Full Spectrum Wellness in the historic Millyard District.
By far New Hampshire’s largest city, Manchester once contained the world's largest single millyard. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, buildings of the Amoskeag Millyard make up what could possibly have been North America's first industrial complex. Constructed along the Merrimack River in the 1830s, the mills helped Manchester become the world's leading producer of textile products by 1900, a title the Queen City kept until the Great Depression. After a period of decline, today the Queen City is revitalized and thriving.
Now, Manchester is home to such major players as Citizens Bank, General Electric, Sylvania, and Verizon, as well as to institutes of higher learning like UNH-Manchester, St. Anselm and  New Hampshire College. This combination of successful enterprise and youthful vigor has helped the city become a cultural hub of the region, boasting an intrepid arts community and rich nightlife and dining scenes. You need only travel down bustling Elm Street on a weekend evening to see that the years have been kind to New Hampshire's Queen City. Today's Manchester even boasts a revitalized Amoskeag Mills complex, now a designated historic site with workspaces, offices, restaurants and shops. Indeed, Manchester lives up to its motto as a place "Where History Invites Opportunity."
Despite its deep sense of history and strong ties to the historic Millyard, Manchester is truly young at  heart, thanks to the area's large number of colleges and universities and its impressive array of cultural opportunities. Indeed, from first-rate museums like the Currier Gallery of Art to world-class venues like the Verizon Arena, the Queen City never has a shortage of things going on.
While in Manchester some not to miss attractions include, The Majestic Theatre. Founded in 1989, The Majestic Theatre Trust production aspect, formally referred to as Majestic Productions, encompasses many events in a year-long production season.

The Amoskeag Fishways Learning and Visitors Center focuses on ecological and cultural issues of the Merrimack River and watershed. Visitors experience exhibits and educational programs year-round.
