The Touch Therapy for Liddle Kidz with Autism (ASD) is coming to Shreveport, Louisiana. This 1-day intensive professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at Shriners Hospital for Children.
Shriners Hospitals for Children has been a leader in specialized pediatric healthcare for years. They’ve been recognized as a leader in orthopaedic care since 1922. The hospitals specializing in orthopaedics are dedicated to providing medical and rehabilitative services to children with congenital deformities, problems resulting from orthopaedic injuries and diseases of the musculoskeletal system.
Their care extends to children who have experienced burns and treatment is provided for burn injuries and related scarring, along with physical and emotional rehabilitation. In the early 1980s, Shriners Hospitals for Children opened the nation's first spinal cord injury rehabilitation centers specifically designed for kids. Cleft lip and palate was added to the health care system's treatment disciplines in 2005. Services available at Shriners Hospitals for Children fill the need for coordinated, comprehensive multidisciplinary care for children with this condition.
Whether you come alone or with your family, Shreveport has a range of things to keep you busy. When you’re there, you make the rules. Come on down to the five riverboat casinos and flirt with Lady Luck, or visit the racetrack and check out the horses. Shop for popular items or one-of-a-kind pieces. Put a little sway in your hips at our musical festivals and night spots.
Visit RiverView Park which features an interactive water fountain with light and music, a magnificent waterfall incorporating natural stone and plantings, an arbor and viewing area at the summit of a waterfall. Or try visiting the Once in a Millennium: Moon Mega Mural at the corner of Cotton & Marshall. Covering 25,000 square feet (two sides of the AT&T building), is the nation’s largest public arts mural. Visible from I-20, the mural is a unique and monumental time capsule capturing the people of Shreveport, their treasures, tragedies, and triumphs.
See something bigger than life . . . extra large statues of Elvis Presley and James Burton, a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist. Located in front of the Municipal Auditorium where they played together on the Louisiana Hayride.

Any experienced healthcare professional will tell you that there is a world of difference between learning how to massage a child from a book or DVD, and knowing how to provide the best care to meet a child and families needs, however, there are few opportunities to learn the skills they really need from a working healthcare professional who has provided infant and pediatric massage education throughout the world.
With specialized advanced training in Pediatric Massage Therapy, you have the unique opportunity to impact a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder for a lifetime.
