The Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist Course (CPMT™) is coming to Wilmington, Delaware. This 2-day professional training, taught by Master Teacher Tina Allen, will be held at The Mary Campbell Center, a unique residential home for the multi-handicapped located in a pleasant area of Brandywine Hundred in Wilmington, Delaware

The Mary Campbell Center grew out of a problem that continues to touch the lives of families with a son or daughter, relative or friend with a handicap. Where can my child live when I'm gone? In the past, people with multiple handicaps were not always understood. People were not aware of the needs of the handicapped, how their lives could be bettered, and where they might find a real home when their parents and family were gone. Mary Campbell Center provides just such a place!

While in Wilmington visit one of the many historic sites including Rockwood Park. Tour this marvelous Rural Gothic mansion which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Enjoy the Butler's Pantry, a self-service Victorian Cafe that's perfect for refreshments, and roam 72 acres of serene parkland. Hike 2.5 miles of lighted trails as part of the Delaware Greenway.

Or choose an exciting way to see the sites! Take a canoe down the historic Brandywine River.  If you are looking for a relaxing day on this beautiful section of the Brandywine, a gentle ride down this calm river is the best way to enjoy it.

Rather than ride in a canoe, you might try taking a ride on the steam train. The Wilmington and Western offers steam-diesel-powered train tours through the scenic Red Clay Valley of Wilmington. Trains operate rain or shine on weekends throughout the season.
